Praise for this book
I so love these books! This book did not disappoint apart from the sad ending. (I am not ashamed to say I cried)
I fear my meagre words won't do the story justice. The concept of the story is magical, the plot, the characters all brought to life by the author. I feel I live and breath and actually take part in the story. The small references to what is going on in the world today bring you back to reality but I liked them, a nice personal touch.
In a series of books I always re read the previous book, so I am fully up to date with the happenings in the story. As these books are at least 12 hours reading I feel I have definitely lived in the dragon world and I still did not want it to end.Well done Paul Cude on another fantastic book in this wonderful story and I can't wait for the next one
I can't in all honesty remember when a series of books effected me so much. I cried like mad at the end feeling the emotion of the characters I'd become familiar with through the storyline who were brilliant, brave and lovable. A MUST for all who enjoy this genre. My sincere thanks to the author for his skill and ability with words and for the journey these books have taken me on.
This one was dramatic, over-the-top, tons of fighting and gore. I’m REALLY sorry I was eating a meatball sandwich for lunch while reading part of this! The ending was horrifically sad, and left me feeling heart-broken, grateful for memories of some of the characters (I mean, seriously, it’s a book, for Pete’s sake!), and wishing revenge on the evil doers. Star-crossed lovers, heroic deeds, intense bravery and courage being portrayed, as well as true emotional depths. A bit of a long read, but sets me up well for the next one in the series.
