A Chilling Revelation (The White Dragon Saga Book 2)

About

Treachery from the sands of Egypt to the plains of Antarctica.
Following on from the harrowing events of ‘A Threat From The Past’ (Book 1), a new found friendship with the dragon king is forged.
Soon though, young and old alike are unwittingly drawn into a deadly plot, when a straight forward meeting with the monarch sees them helping an injured dragon agent, straight back from his mission in Antarctica with news of a devastating encounter with another ancient race.
Blackmail, intrigue, forbidden love interests, a near fatal mantra gone wrong, a highly charged rugby match in which Tank takes a beating, combined with enough laminium ball action to please dragons the world over, stretch the bonds of the dragons’ friendship like never before.
New friends and ancient enemies clash as the planet braces itself for one of the most outrageous attacks it has ever seen.
Lost secrets and untold lore come to light, while sinister forces attempt to steal much coveted magic.
Explosive exploits, interspersed with a chilly backdrop and unexpected danger at every turn, make for an action-packed, electrifying adventure.

Praise for this book

I have already (purchased and) read the first book in this series and had immediately fallen in love with the characters and world building; when I had the chance to have the review copy of this second book, I decided to do so! I wasn't disappointed as I knew that I wouldn't be. This story continued on almost directly from the events in the first novel (rather than being a whole new adventure in its own right); it was nice to catch up with the characters and their lives, just to see what they were doing. It was like visiting old friends. Peter is starting to grow up a little in this novel (and even getting himself a girlfriend! Go, Peter!) Richie is as rebellious as ever (and I love her for that. She's a really amusing character.) Tank is as kindly as ever (and I must say that Tank is my absolute favourite character in this series. He's a genuine gentle giant.) Gee Tee is as crotchety (but as golden-hearted) as ever. I really liked the addition of Flash in this book. I really hope to read more about him in future books.

The plot was exciting, and revolved around Manson's continuing nefarious plot to do away with humans and to wreak revenge on the dragons. A lot of the events in this book were foreshadowed in both 'Threat from the Past' and 'Frozen to the Core' which I liked. I think this is a series that you really do need to read all of the books in order to really appreciate the depth of the story-telling and the foreshadowing along the way. I'm intrigued to know how many points in this book, will be expanded upon in the future. The plot itself was exciting with many a bomb going off (and poor Steel though! What a selfless sacrifice he made. I hope he survives, poor sod.) The last few chapters in particular were very tense and kept me on the edge of my seat. And the genuine ending though. Bloody cliffhanger or what? :D I couldn't believe it (in a good way!) I need to know what happens now!

So yes, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will look forward to reading the other books in this series!

A good read from start to finish. Looking forward to book three in the series. Recommend this book to any one who read book one.

What a brilliant story!
The adventure continues with the three young dragon friends.
I've got to say Mr Cude has got an incredible imagination.
The chacters are all interesting and the storyline is full of adventure and excitement with lots of actiontoo.
My only problem with this book was that it ends in a cliffhanger!
I really don't like reading books with cliffhangers but I'm really enjoying reading about peter and his friends and now I can't wait to read the next one!

WOW! If you enjoyed the first story, you will absolutely LOVE this next installment. Layer upon layer of action, intrigue, and dangerous feats of courage. The close-knit trio we've come to know and love are back in their most daring set of adventures yet. Whether it be fresh, hot, love or bone-chilling backdrops, you'll find yourself enraptured by this heart-racing novel.

What an amazing read for the second book in this 6 book saga. It follows the adventures (or should that be the MISadventures) of Peter, Tank, and Gee Tee, plus a wonderful assortment of characters that enhance your reading experience. These three special dragons, are once again called on to assist the King and the entire dragon world, all without letting the humans they work with, know of their secret. Shhhhhhhhhhh. Plus, Peter is also head over heels in love with Janice, a beautiful young female human, which for a dragon is a huge NO NO!
A special mention to Flash, a member of the Crimson Guard, who sacrificed his dragonness, (forced to be stuck in his human disguise) during a top secret mission. Peter’s grandfather is one of a few unfortunate captives in a dastardly plot, that could end all of dragon-kind.
I think we will not see the last of Flash, this brave dragon, and trust that Gee Tee will do his absolute best to restore to him, his full dragon abilities.
This is one series that should be an absolute MUST read for, not just fans of this genre, but for all readers who enjoy a damn good read!
Oh, by the way, my new number 1 on my bucket list, is to sit in the stands and see a laminium ball game. That would be a thrill!
Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars for a wonderful read that will get the adrenaline pumping.

I am really enjoying this series. So many great characters Peter, Richie & Tank and so many more. I love the idea of the series. Dragons live among the humans and keep the council informed of whats going on The commraderey between these 3 friends is refreshing. Being dragons they are told no relationships with humans ever. They try very hard not to have feelings but sometimes the heart rules. The dragons and humans have no idea what is coming for them. An evil is lurking around and they won't even see it coming. I am definitely getting the rest of this series.

The tension and action in this book just grabs you by the ears and makes you keep reading. This book feels like it’s actually at least three books compiled into one, but there is no loss of definition to the storyline and each component is approached with great care. The segue into the next crisis is not an abrupt change but more like a look into the daily lives of the great and wonderful dragons. The readers get to welcome Flash and King George to the group, each of whom add their own quirks and opinions to the mix. Though ending mid sentence on a cliffhanger, it still feels like the perfect place to pause the story and let anguish grow over what is going to happen next. This series is growing substantially excellent with each book. Keep reading, as if stoping is even an option.

This series is quickly becoming my favorite. The story of Peter, Tank and Richie is mixed with drama, suspense with alittle romance thrown in. The entire story building up to this explosion is so intense. You can actually feel how Peter and Tank are becoming drained of energy to contain it and save their friends, teammates and town they have been elected to protect. When they get arrested after this it just breaks your heart and you want to just yell into the book that they were protecting everyone! But all in all this is a book that you get emerced into quickly and fall in love with all these friends where you just cannot put this book down. So good and I need more of it to read!

Everything is going well with the three friends. They are invited to the King's personal residence. He is about to give Pete his grandfather's trunk, when an urgent shout comes from below. A Crimson Guard has appeared badly injured and near death. He has news only for the King's ears.
Flash has been through the ringer while attempting to find out what happened to two groups of scientists in the Antarctic. He has quite the tail to tell about old dragons and Naga.
Not long after they discover a plot that could be the beginning of the ancient prophecy.
A must read second book in The White Dragon Saga.

Book 1 gave us some background and introduced us to the Dragon world and their characters and conflicts. Book 2 expands on the world and the characters in astounding ways. And what a cliffhanger of an ending! Moving on to the next in the series…

Great story, loved it from start to finish and couldn't stop reading. Can't wait to start reading the third book to continue the story.

I didn't think it was possible to be so on the edge of my seat reading a book. This second book is packed full of tension, action and emotion and I can only hope that book three proves to be as nail biting as this one. Well done to the author
