A few eagled eyed readers often contact me to say, “Those chapter headings are incorrectly spelt – I’m not reading those books.” When I explain just how wrong they are, their smiles usually light up the room. The chapter headings are spelt correctly, and all that you’re looking at is a play on words that is a recurring theme throughout my books. Chapter one of the first book, ‘Dragon Sleighing’, is spelt that way for a very particular reason. I hate SPOILERS, and so I won’t tell you why, because I don’t want to ruin the surprise. Likewise, the following chapter, ‘A Tail of Humility’, once again looks as though it may be incorrect. I assure you it is not. Other chapters across my series of books that may incur doubts include ‘Fawking Hell!!!!’, ‘The Mourning After The Week Before’, ‘SUB-version’ and ‘Eggs-clusion’. I take great pride in coming up with appropriate chapter headings that reflect not only what happens in that particular part of the adventure, but incorporate my unique sense of humour and personality.
